A facial a multi-step professional skincare treatment designed to cleanse, exfoliate, and nourish the skin. It removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores, and treats specific skin concerns, resulting in refreshed, hydrated skin
Facials at Toribella are built around your skin, customized to your skin goals. Before anything begins, your esthetician takes 10 to 15 minutes to go through what you're looking for: specific concerns you want to address, sensitivities, reactions to past products, or simply wanting to try something new and let her assess from there. Every step that follows is selected based on what she actually finds.

What to Expect Before, During, and After Treatment
Before your appointment: When booking your appointment, let your esthetician know what you use on your skin especially retinol, what recent cosmetic services you have had such as Botox or Dermal Fillers, or if you are on Accutane or have been on Accutane.
Wearing makeup to an appointment is not a concern. Your esthetician double cleanses every client, so coming straight from work is completely fine.
During treatment: Every facial starts with aromatherapy — a set of oils applied to help you settle in and actually relax before anything else begins. From there:
Double cleanse to remove everything on the surface
Skin exam under a magnifying lamp — Your esthetician looks for concerns you've mentioned and ones you may not know are there
Exfoliation — customized to your skin's tolerance, ranging from gentle enzymes to chemical peels; dermaplaning can also be layered in as a mechanical exfoliation step before the enzyme layer, giving a deeper result
Extractions — blackheads, congestion, sebaceous filaments
Facial massage — shoulders, neck, hands, arms, and face
Final masking — chosen from 10 to 15 masks based on your skin's needs, applied while the shoulder and neck massage continues
Finishing products and a closing aromatherapy pass
After treatment: For a standard facial, your regular routine can resume the next day. For treatments involving intense exfoliation or a dermaplane-and-peel combination, your esthetician will give you guidance on what to do after.

Packed with anti-aging benefits and vitamin C this facial will leave your skin brighter & hydrated! Antioxidant-focused with a brightening emphasis. Well-suited to clients dealing with dullness, sun damage, or environmental stress on the skin.

Detox Facial —
Targets congestion and oiliness. Best for clients with consistent clogged pores or skin that feels congested after heavy product use or travel.

Add Dermaplaning on to any treatment:
Most clients add dermaplaning to a facial rather than booking it standalone. When dermaplaning is done before a chemical peel or enzyme exfoliation, you get a mechanical exfoliation layer first, then a chemical layer on top — resulting in a noticeably deeper result than either treatment alone.
The add-on is $25. If you want to add it when you come in for a faical, mention it at the start of your appointment and your esthetician will add it into your treatment plan. Learn more about facials here.

MEET MARISSA
licensed esthetician
Marissa is a licensed esthetician and proud graduate of Rizzieri Aveda school. Her passion for skincare started way back to when she was younger as she has dealt with stubborn acne pretty much her entire life. Marissa’s goal is to provide her clients with the education and treatments necessary to help them feel confident in your own skin.
Before esthetics, Marissa wore a lot of hats— Starting in the restaurant industry since she was 16 along with 5 years in the real estate world—and now she gets to combine all that people-loving energy with her obsession for skin and relaxation. Marissa would call herself an outgoing introvert, which basically means “I’ll talk your ear off about skincare but also give you the most peaceful treatment room vibes.”
When Marissa is not in the spa, you can find her at the beach, practicing yoga, trying new restaurants or just outside enjoying nature.
